Welcome, I'm so glad you're here!

My name is Neha and I am a birth doula passionate about providing evidence-based information to ease the fear and overwhelm that often surrounds labour, birth, and early postpartum. I was born and raised in British Columbia by Indian parents and grandparents, which gave me a deep appreciation for my culture. I am proud to serve both English- and Punjabi-speaking families with compassionate and culturally sensitive care.

Before becoming a doula, I worked as a pharmacy technician but, that changed unexpectedly when my oldest brother called me from the delivery room at Langley Memorial Hospital. It was an honour to be a comfort to him and my sister-in-law, and to witness the birth of my niece.

I also saw firsthand the need for continuous, compassionate support alongside the medical team. After the birth, I moved in to help as we all learned how to care for baby Serena. I supported my sister-in-law through the early days of healing emotionally and physically from childbirth and settling into motherhood. I learned a lot from midwives, public health nurses, and lactation consultants, however I craved a deeper understanding.

Looking back, I wish I had known then what I know now so I could have supported my family so much better, but that experience is what led me here.

I am passionate about providing support and care to you and your family.
